games like these – main network (Fox), competitive game, atmosphere looks good on tv – make me glad UConn left the AAC and went back to the Big East
28-26 UConn at the half
Lopez Senechal 10 pts on 4-9 fg (2-6 3pt), 3 reb, 2 pf
Muhl 5 ast, 5 to, 3 pf
Siegrist 12 pts on 5-9 fg, 2 reb, 1 blk, 0 to, 1 pf
Dalce 2 pf

Nova often doesn't even try to offensive rebound. They just all run back to stop UConn fast break because UConn's half court offense is so sloppy and weak. |

unless their fortunes change in the 4Q, Villanova’s inability to hit their 3s is the sole reason why they’ll lose this game

Do you think these Fox announcers brought a case of Chapstick with them? They'll need it after continuously kissing UConn's ass for 2 hours.

When you've got a ton of injuries on the season, and you're down to a skeleton crew for your team, is it a good idea to take a player who is literally holding ice on the back of her head on the bench and put her back into the game?

UConn played the same mediocre half court offense in the second half, but got many more FTM's, 15 vs. 2 in the the first half.
UConn dominated the boards, 47-25, while Nova dominated steals/blocks, 17-5.
Again, Geno plays only six players. Patterson, DeBerry and Bettencourt all now seem to be in Chez Bow Wow. |

Geno's become downright pathological. Every player on the floor risks serious injury while three rested players sit on the bench. Because winning is all that counts (or blaming losses on preventable injuries).
