It wasn't just the Versyp killed the program via the record. Her teams were boring to watch, and they players seemed miserable. She was standoffish with the media and fans. It really killed the fandom for the program.

Gearlds has changed the entire energy around the program. I don't know if she will get the program back where it was in the glory days, but people are excited for the first time in YEARS ....

Not a good weekend for Purdue bball.

Loved the baseball jersey KG was wearing.

Surprised to see Lin Dunn in attendance. Seemed to be greeted warmly. Blew a kiss to the crowd.

It seems the bridges have largely been rebuilt with Dunn - it's not her first time back. The AD who fired her is gone (he retired and has since passed away) and the whole department and program are different. I have to think she also probably looks back at what happened a little differently than when she was younger.

I assume she was there to watch Holmes - I wonder which pick she is thinking about.

She was also in attendance at the Maryland @ Indiana game a couple weeks ago, wearing an orange WNBA hoodie, sitting courtside, clearly scouting.
