Actor Nicolas Coster, at age 89. He did mostly daytime soap operas, but also appeared in guest roles in numerous primetime series, and even appeared in the 1976 movie All The President's Men, as the person Robert Redford's character (Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward) talks to while the Watergate burglars are being arraigned.
FWIW, he was also a certified scuba diver.

Sam Wurzelbacher, at age 49 due to pancreatic cancer. He had his 15 minutes of fame as "Joe The Plumber", during the John McCain's 2008 Presidential Campaign even though he wasn't really a licensed plumber.
In 2012, he ran against incumbent Marcy Kaptur for Ohio's 9th congressional seat. He was soundly defeated.

Jimmy Buffett, 76
One of the best singers I've ever seen in concert. It wasn't just a show, it was an all-out event. The concession concourse lined with margarita machines, the smell of pot everywhere (and this was long before the legalization movement took hold), and the entire atmosphere felt all out tropical--nevermind it was Minnesota and it was winter.
Popping Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude into the ol' tape deck (later CD player, MP3 player, Streaming Playlist) got me through more long ass winters...
RIP Mr. Buffet, from this Gen X Parrot Head

May you enjoy eternity in Margaritaville and finally find that lost shaker of salt.

Buffet was one of my all-time favorites. Heartbroken this morning to hear he passed away. Guy lived an amazing life. Sadly, I never go to see him live. Tried getting tickets when he was on tour in 2019 and they sold out as soon as they went on sale. I'll be listening to his Sirius XM station all day today.
