I hope the league reviews the officiating in this whole series.

Vegas won this game by holding their own on the glass. RWilliams's timely shots were obviously the daggers but overcoming the rebounding disadvantage with their smaller, offensive-oriented lineup was the key.

Congrats Aces! Was rooting for Connecticut but love to see a first time champion either way.

Very proud of the decision she earned it.

SN: Pilight , when is the last time a Finals MVP was not voted an All=Star that year ? My mind goes to Ruth Riley , but im sure someone has done this more recently ?

Vegas' defense on those last inbound plays by Conn was pretty crucial too.

And while Young had a pretty bad shooting night, she also had 8 assists, 5 RB's and 2 steals.

Now A'ja and Chelsea need to board the plane to Australia.

Bri Jones and AT should be joining them as well, but alas they won't make the cut.

So, since the inaugural season, there have been six WNBA Finals matchups involving two teams that were both competing for their first championship (2001, 2004, 2005, 2011, 2019, 2022). The Connecticut Sun have been involved in four of those six matchups, and have lost all four.

I was just thinking that if she ever decides to give up coaching she could do shampoo commercials.

AT for FMVP. Twisted Evil

Nah, but she did have an incredible series.

Aces were just too much though, wish I could've seen these Suns compete with JT.

Same here!! They were stressing me out, but I'm so glad Vegas met Conn's physicality and got it done! Top to bottom, I'm excited for each and every one of them and am so glad Chelsea got the MVP! Even though it still makes me a little angry that they aren't still together, for the 2nd season in a row, the Sparks diaspora bought home the trophy!! Great to see Bill get his kudos and for him to be there and proud! Mark Davis has to be the best team owner in the league. Just so supportive, beaming and proud!

Is this the possible start of a dynasty? They definitely seem to have the talent, coaching, toughness and youth to make things interesting for a number of years.

Conn fought hard and it looked like they were going to push it to a game 5, but the air definitely came out of the balloon at the end. It will be interesting to see what they look like next season. Given how close they have gotten, I wouldn't be surprised if they try to run it back with the core and Jasmine healed and ready to go. We shall see!

Great W season!!

They won't have the same team unless Bri Jones decides to take a considerable pay cut, which I doubt she will do.

2004: Seattle Storm
2005: Sacramento Monarchs! #MFFL
2019: Washington Mystics
2022: Las Vegas Aces

The Sun need to form some kind of partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, or something.
