My mom's at that game; she should be able to give a game report when she gets back ~10.

66-63 St John's final!

How do you lose a game when you out shoot the opponents 56% to 43% and outrebound them by 20?

24 TOs for the Irish to 11 for the Red Storm

Game report trickling in now from my wayward mother. Her first responses: "Unbelievable" and Muffet McGraw got outcoached.

Tara Walker and Monique McLean (Baby Shameka to y'all) were bombing threes. The last possessions were perfectly set up Lisa Claxton to Danielle Chambers for the lay-up and Kia Wright to Greeba Barlow for the sealant. Angie Clark made some rebounds off what mamacita describes as "that 6'5" Diana Taurasi wannabe"- any hint as to who that might be? There was a point in the game- when they went up by ten- when they thought "We can win this game", not just a respectable loss. She was also impressed by Crystal Erwin and Megan Duffy (who she referred to as Murphy).

The girls were jumping for joy, according to la madre.

Also- much more noise than usual, much of it coming from the junior team that played at halftime. Mom was hoarse when she came home.

The only Domer that's near 6'5 is Melissa D'Amico.

St Johns has impressed me in the couple of games that I've seen them, I actually enjoy watching them play (unlike last season).
