Not exactly a vintage opener for the team after they had a decent exhibition tournament:

The U17 coaching staff
...
Tom McConnell (Indiana University of Pennsylvania)
...

I was confused by the school name and found it is a Division II school in Indiana, Pennsylvania. I guess it started out as Indiana University. Then at some point they needed to change it to keep from being confused with the other Indiana University. At least I assume they didn't start out with that name.

Not a great start at all, but they eventually rolled past New Zealand.

Pennsylvania is like that. They have a California University too.

It's a bit confusing to 'outsiders'....I've been there several times. It's actually a state of PA university in the town of Indiana, PA, which was founded a decade before Indiana The State was 'officially' a state. It also happens to be the original home of Hollywood icon Jimmy Stewart. Cool

More of a typical complete domination as the knockout round is next:

The rest of the games will be slightly more challenging than facing South Korea:

Thanks for these updates, awhom. JuJu Watkins seems to be tearing it up for the USA team.

Canada is brushed aside so it's down to the final against Spain:
