Wow, Wow, Wow. The Mystics will really need a miracle to win this game against the Aces. Please NO COVID, Get Well Soon Natasha!!!!

Looking like Mystics will be without Natasha Cloud tonight. Thibault said she started to get sick last night and they’re waiting for testing. But the way she’s feeling, probably not playing. That would likely bump Rui Machida up into the starting lineup.

Yes, but EDD will be available and maybe Clark?

and they at least have Benzan as a backup as well if Machida is as bad as she has looked in the first couple.Neither Machida nor Benzan can guard Ridnour's chair though so Plum should make hay. If it is covid, Minnesota as well as the rest of her team have likely been 'contacts'...in which case both teams will be infecting more teams today. Merry Christmas.

I think SWK played some point in college so maybe they resort to that.

Hilarious they're talking about Machida's defensive rating. Plum is going around her every time down the floor.

Gray has been a big negative for the Aces today. Wonder if that major bang on the head at the beginning of the game has affected her play.

They've been leaving Machida open at the three. To her credit she did make one!

Totally didn't expect this for the Mystics without Cloud. Grats to them for going right at 'em.

Wonder if someone will pick Benzan up when she's released from the hardship. Her threes here were huge.

The Aces will not make it to the conference finals. I see multiple problems with this squad:
* Lack of depth
* Starters playing big minutes
* Smaller frontline
* Wilson not getting enough touches
Inserting Plum/Hamby into the starting lineup means fewer touches for Wilson.

Aces scored 26 points in the first quarter, and 27 points in the second... half. Choke job? Coaching?

More importantly, it means that what made the Aces special (their bench unit, powered by the aforementioned Plum and Hamby) is now irrelevant, and may even be a liability.
It is interesting that the wisdom last year was that Cambage coming back would hurt Wilson's touches, and now Cambage is gone, the Aces have a new head coach, and Wilson's allegedly still not getting touches?

Impressive win by the Mystics, especially without Cloud and EDD not being 100%. Benzan was pretty good, FLB 2.0 although she gives up a lot on the other end.
What kinda injury does Clark have again?

Why didn't she make a difference in the first half?

Yep, the Aces went from having the best bench to one of the worse...And Wilson's touches have decreased when Cambage leaving should've had the opposite effect.

BayBay and Stokes will at least help their depth issue.
