imo it should be Beal, but it won't be

in a move of reverse psychology, i'll pick Berger

Then, I'm going with a double reverse psychology with Beal... Laughing

Changed my mind, I didn't notice Taylor Mikesell and I'm going with her.

How about after Boston, they just pull names from a hat...that would be exciting! Laughing

Indiana has been doing that for years

Anyone watch the Draft Preview show today with LaChina & Rebecca? If you missed it earlier, it repeating at 6pm (I think) tonight on ESPN. They had a brief interview with Maddie Siegrist.

All in all, it wasn’t anything special. Only a half hour. LaChina looked good.

Not no more. Lin Dunn knows more about assessing WNBA readiness and team fit. Boston had best be upping her midrange/outside game as Nalyssa is poised to dominate.

I wonder what they'll do with Egbo, who far exceeded expectations last year. Almost thinking it would be a good time to trade her as her value is probably as high as it will ever be.

On the other hand, having a 3 player post rotation in Indiana is close to unheard of...and might be handy. Both Nalyssa and Aliyah can use a breather now and then.

now see i'd love to believe that, but now that she's done shit like sign Erica Wheeler and Victoria Vivians to guaranteed deals that pays them a combined $335k for each of the next two seasons, i start getting nervous for Fever fans when thinking about the draft and Indiana's the star of the show

since she's really the only PG there, I assume someone who is desperate for a PG will take her.

...plus injuries and foul trouble occur. I'd keep her too because she is a good hammer. She can get in there and rebound along with knocking some people around when needed...which she doesn't mind doing.

I mean, Beal was a senior, right? Technically, she didn't have to declare, did she?

Maybe that’s why she was tearing up in her interview with Rowe. She thought she going to be a first rounder. She could have went back to school. This is all Voepel’s fault. Smile

she said she was declaring mostly cuz she didn’t like school, she was always leaving as soon as those four years were up

No, what I meant was, since when do seniors have to declare for the draft? Aren't they automatically eligible?

Who knows, but I didn’t get the feeling they were happy tears. Seemed more like pouty tears.

"Pouty" is an interesting word choice.

I mean, she was basically humiliated on national TV; why would they have been happy tears?

Since Covid means everyone gets an extra year if they want it.
