If ND is going to make risky passes, at least they have to be crisp. Too many lazy passes.

It wasn't an "incredible boxout" Lobo. It was an incredible pushoff that didn't get called (again).

That would have been a foul on ND. Going over the back, through the ND player.

I missed yesterday's games and was glad they were close scores and that we have continued that trend today

They have so many fouls to give because the refs weren't calling them.

Bull Shit.

Slow down Ryan. That wasn't for the win with :14 to go.

Plenty of time to give Miles a ball screen and let her go to work.

You know which team is more athletic when one has great difficulty getting the ball inbounds.

Crutchfield's best game of the year.

But they will have to play better than that in the next one.

Don't watch these teams much do you.

It has zero to do with athleticism and everything to do with one team being all seniors and the other being led by two freshmen and a sophmore.

Young team vs a seasoned one.

Miles is an outstanding player, and she’ll have Norte Dame going far in the tournament her next three years.

ND had this game. What a 4Q NCSt comeback or ND collapse, depending on how one looks at it.

Good game. Miles is awesome when she can hit from the outside, which is episodic.

Such an odd feel to the game, it felt like ND was up like 20 points, and I looked up to see it was only 8. Contrast that to last night’s game where Stanford was up by like 26 and it felt like 2.

That’s exactly what the end of this game looked like.

Tbh not knowing much about NC state, when the commentators mentioned four seniors, I thought ND might be in trouble if it got close.

the problem is that everybody in the building knew that's what they would do so they had three defenders on her. Gee, somebody else was going to be open. I thought maybe a lob into Dodson, or something a little unexpected would have been better. I especially didn't like having Westbeld heave up a three with the game on the line.

Idk if I would have have had Westbeld be the screener. Would have chosen Dodson. NC State wasn't containing Miles basically all game so it was a good choice.

But I agree with everyone else. It was a young inexperienced team vs. a seasoned veteran team at the end of the game. Exciting times for ND in the future.

Takes four years to learn how to get the ball inbounds? If one team is longer and quicker it is a challenge regardless of class.

You think NCST is "longer"? Thanks. I needed a laugh. Gota love those "long" 5'4" guards.

Well that just underscores what I replied to your last post.

Any chance Peoples transfers? I always though she was supposed to be a big kahuna for ND.

OK, limit it to quicker since "longer" apparently requires every player to have longer arms and we also don't have that measurement . I think Notre Dame collapsed when a more athletic team turned up the pressure. It could be because of lesser experience - 12 to 14 years playing basketball versus 10 to 12 - but I see that as a rationalization.
