Wow, I'm shocked. Just tuned over to this game and KY leads LSU 34-17 as we approach the midpoint of the 2nd quarter.
They just said that KY has made 6 straight 3 pointers.

LSU looks completely confused and out of control at both ends of the court.
You wouldn't have thought losing Alexis Morris would have this kind of effect, but this doesn't look like a Mulkey team.
Howard is draining 3s but LSU just left her wide open in the corner for another one (she's now 5 of 6 from the arc).

that too. It's always hard for teams that specialize in flopping...when the flopping doesn't bring the results they want.

Kim was basically only playing five players (except when their big got in foul trouble). So Morris’ replacement hasn’t gotten a lot of playing time. I thought they’d probably bow out of the tourney early.
In truth, that has been one of Kim’s things for years. She doesn’t really like the conference tourney. Despite her typical antics, she’s probably not all that upset to get her short benched team some rest.
If Morris isn’t back full strength, I think they’ll have a hard time getting out of the first weekend.

| I've always thought depth is more important in the conference tourney than at other points in the season. Just brutal to have to play back to back to back (to back) games. Then again, this was LSU's first day, so...

LSU without Alexis Morris is like an egg without salt. Basically just isn't quite
