| Gamecocks lead51-37 at the end of the 3rd quarter. They did lead 51-31, but Arkansas ended the period on a 6-0 run. Aliyah Boston has 15 pts and 11 rebounds for yet another double-double, her 11th consecutive which adds to her USC all-time record streak of such feats. Destanni Henderson also scored 15 pts, which surpassed 1,000 career points for her, the 3rd Gamecock this season to pass that milestone, joining Boston and Zia Cooke......

| When I saw that Ark was 6-24 on 3's I was surprised that they could stay this close.

Gamecocks win 61-52.
South Carolina had a stretch of ugly basketball late in the game, where they once led 51-31 after running off a 15-0 scoring run, then allowed Arkansas to go on a 18-2 run of their own with tons of Gamecock turnovers - they had 14 of their total 19 in the 2nd half alone - to allow the Razorbacks to close within 4 (53-49) with 4:20 to play. Then USC peeled off a little 8-0 run at the end to cushion their lead.
Aliyah Boston and Destanni Henderson lead the Gamecocks with 19 points each - Boston on 6-13 shooting plus 7-7 at the FT line, with 13 rebounds and 1 steal, and Henderson on 7-17 shooting with 3 assists, 1 block and 1 steal. They were the only Gamecocks in double digits, but were supported by Victaria Saxton with 4 pts, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks and1 steal, and by Destiny Littleton who scored 6 pts on 2-5 from the 3-point arc, with 5 rebounds and a block....
Makayla Daniels led the Razorbacks with 17 pts on 4-15 shooting, 7-8 at the stripe, with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, and Amber Ramirez scored 14 pts on 5-8 shooting, with 2 boards and 2 steals....
