Indiana nips Penn State 54-50. Even with Penn State's struggles this year, this is another very good win for a rising Hoosier program.

Defense, defense, defense.

There are two solid scorers on the Hoosier squad - Valentin and DeMuth - an alright complement in Angela Hawkins and a 3-ball shooter in Nikki Smith. This team is going to frustrate opponents by playing stiffling defense, sticking in games, and hopefully Valentin making some big plays to finish things out.

Valentin could be a sleeper pick for the W, although I am not sure how interested she is, nor am I convinced she could make it. But she is certainly a hard hard worker with a very pretty shot. If she can handle, she may be able to find a spot as a backup PG.
