In a really bizarre move, Sharon Versyp is the new coach at South Carolina-Blufton. The school is transitioning from NAIA to DII, and is starting both men's and women's basketball in 2023.

Jim Jabir is stepping aside at Siena while being investigated for allegedly making racist and misogynistic statements.

Dang. He had a lot of success at Dayton; I'm curious if any of those 'tendencies' (misogyny, racism) were evident then? My last memory of him was leaving Dayton, and being gravely ill....or am I imagining again?

I would like a second source on this, to be honest. The two allegations in that article come from the same player- or more precisely, the parents of the same player, while the player could not be reached for comment. He’s been in coaching for a very long time, at multiple schools. You’re going to tell me this never came up?
