Luckily for pro athletes there are a lot of people that are willing to give a lot of help for both Penny and Diana to sleep.

The pressure is all on the Merc for Game 2. If they go to Chicago down 0-2, the series won't come back to Phoenix.

Big question is will Chicago get same performance offensively from Steph game 2? She was the big difference that PHX didn't anticipate.

The more Kia Vaughn you see, the easier it is for opposing posts to score. That didn't matter when Kiah Stokes was the first big off the other bench, Dolson is much more of an offensive threat.

Sandy said for Kia Vaughan it was jitters. I think Alanna might need to get some run. But I hope that Phoenix realizes that they need to have more than 2.5 post players. I mean they could find someone that plays solid defense even if they can't score. No disrespect to Kia Vaughan but this is not the series for her.

The difference with the sky's gameplan on BG versus Vegas is their switching the pick and roll for BG and the opposite post is rotating to take Griner while the other post recovers to griner leaving the PF wide open at the top of the key. Turner cannot hit that shot so they went with Vaughn the only difference in that is Vaughn cannot defend Parker like Turner can. The sky's defensive rotation was great game 1. Their offense is a fine oiled machine, If they win this one i dont see PHX winning 3 straight .

Parker has never won a game 2 in the Finals. Her record is 0-2 hopefully for the Sky the 3rd time is the charm. She hasn’t loss a Finals game 3s but her game 4s is the same a record as her game 2.CP is even at 1-1 in game 5

A person's past does not have to determine their future. When a person makes changes on who they are and who they want to be those changes redirects their future.

The Mercury have to figure out how to counter the awesome defense the Sky played on Griner. The Sky's double teams on Griner, bringing two bigs to defend her, both prevented Griner from scoring and from finding the open teammate for the easy bucket. That was the #1 key to the Sky victory: preventing the easy bucket by going to Griner.

IMHO, the Mercury HAVE TO spread out the floor more to make it more obvious who's open when the Sky bring the double. Or Phoenix has to send a cutting player at the exact moment the ball goes into Griner. The Sky did a great job of rotating when sending the double and with two bigs in her face blocking her vision, she couldn't find the open player and risked getting tied up if holding onto the ball any longer.

Sophie Cunningham will be the player who doesn't have tired legs, though recovering from a calf injury, will she be able to lose her defender? Will the injury affect her shot? Sky defenders have to be ready to adjust or Sophie can burn them.

Dolson played outta her ass in Game 1, so probably not. But then again, it might be that the Mercury's posts are a good matchup for her, and I don't think we see another goose-egg performance from DeShields either, so everything in general may just balance itself out anyway.

Sue's shirt looks like something we'd see on a Canadian Olympic athlete at a closing ceremony.

She'll be ice cold...I'm calling it now. Peddy should be a nice boost from the bench.
