It'll be curious to see how the Merc play Game 5. They've been pretty successful running with the Aces but without Nurse or Cunningham they may not have the depth to do that. OTOH if they slow the game down they let out-of-shape Cambage become a factor, unlike the first four games.

Our season is likely over. I’d be stunned if we were to pull out a win on the road with the depth depleted like this.

I think most just wanted someone better than Nurse at the 3.

It's obvious that Nurse is better than nobody at all.

In all fairness, the Mercury gave up quite a bit to get Nurse. Earlier in the season, she gave them absolutely nothing on offense or defense where she was expected to give them a much needed boost. Only after she started scoring and showing some consistency was when the Mercury got better.

I mean Kia Nurse was shooting 30% from the floor and 3 point range. After giving up a number 6 pick, anyone else would've been better than what she was providing. Sandy said it was her achilles and so maybe she wasn't healthy and finally was healthy so her defense and offense post break were very important and helpful.

Now what options does Phoenix have? Sophie is questionable and I felt this series wasn't a good defensive match up for her but hopefully she can score. Add in Bria not getting any play to get her in any type of groove and well, Shey Peddy is all we have now. So yeah, I'll take a healthy Kia Nurse.

Well..like..we might be out of Sophie and DT too.

If Nurse doesn’t play, and Sandy gives Hartley and Peddy Nurse’s minutes (instead of walker) - and DT and Sophie play..I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

But if we’re down two or three guards…

I guess Shey will start or possibly Walker will at the 3. I mean, maybe Sandy can try a big lineup with Vaughan at the 3 offensively and Turner at the 3 defensively. At this point, try anything.

Both Las Vegas wins: Kiah Stokes 23 minutes per game
Both Las Vegas losses: Kiah Stokes 8 minutes per game

The only player who was plus +/- in Game 3, and the only player plus in 3 of the 4 games (the only one in Game 2): Kiah Stokes!

Monster 5 point Game 4 with the season on the line!

I'm thinking MVP if the Aces win Game 5. Smile

All kidding aside, Kiah's giving the Aces everything you could reasonably expect from her.
