Congrats Queenie although this win by SJU isn’t so great for Marquette 😀

I don’t know, it makes y’all dog-walking us in Milwaukee look even better.

Nooo......not having seen your commentary here in this excitement, up to that point, made me consider the fact you may be unconscious - sleeping, under anesthesia, etc.

Queenie must be so happy for coach Tartamella. You know how fond she is on him. She even has him on her signature! Sure wish I could translate Latin!

May it be time to change your signature to: "Tartamella et milites laudandi sunt."...??

Yeah - as of today, I'm having a hard time seeing how anybody can justify UConn being a #1 seed, but....who knows? There's still a good number of games to be played.

I was hoping MU could finish in 4th in the BE and this win gives St. John’s
a decent chance of tying with MU in my opinion. MU has a big game at home against Creighton Wednesday night and may play in front of a very small crowd too with a bad ice storm forecasted. I was flying at the time of Saturday’s game and surprised to see the final when I landed - I was not expecting that big of a winning margin.

Full game video. UConn has scored less than 70 points five games in a row for the first time since 1992.

UConn posts are terrible screeners. Stop bringing Tina and Sue to practice and get Momma Stef in there to show them how to head hunt when setting screens.

At. John’s played a great game, they absolutely deserved this win.

UConn is clearly exhausted. I think it’s likely they don’t win the BE tournament, unless Azzi is back. The team just needs some rest.

Geno's gonna Geno until they drop.

And then Geno threw them under the bus in post game....

They played as hard as they could but were outplayed. Let's face it, UConn is not a team full of great players, it's a dedicated hard working team with morals and values.

At this point, they are a team of great players with no legs. Yes, even young uber athletes can suffer from over training, leading to diminishing play and higher possibility of injuries of all kinds.

The buck stops with Geno. His choices as head coach have led to an incredible run of National Championships when relatively injury free and those same choices lead directly to the current situation when the injury lottery catches up.
