| john avlon on cnn, about how obviously trump's letter shows he's unhinged and not well in the head (paraphrasing): if anyone received this letter from a friend or a coworker, they'd be concerned, like the person shouldn't be operating heavy machinery . . .

 Hey, THAT occurred to me as soon as I saw it was 6 pages long. I doubt he's ever actually written 6 sentences, never mind 6 pages, replete with correct spellings, grammar, etc.
Yeah, I heard him tell an interviewer once that he didn't even type all his copious tweets....he said he had 'assistants' that do that for him.
Kinda sad, really....the (most probable) literacy deficit, and his corrupt charisma still drawing in so many.

I keep wondering if we would be in this position if the (some of?) repubs had reigned in Trump from the beginning? Even back during the debates when he asked Russia to find HRC emails. Did they try? Would they have been able to? What if they had voted in favor of the censure earlier this year? Would that have maybe put him on notice and kept this from happening?
So many times he has pushed the envelope and nothing. Just like a child, he needed to have boundaries and very few of the repubs had the balls to tell him what they were. Every republican that has kept silent the last three years is responsible for this. Every republican that was more concerned about their re-election than the country.

Regardless of the Senate's tactics and strategy, THIS is a huge victory for American Democracy: SOMEBODY must call a spade a spade when wrongdoing is present, and for him to go unchastised for his illicit abuse of power could only have proven that our 'system' is broken.
The Republicans could only parrot the hackneyed "They hate him so they try to oust him" rhetoric. NONE addressed the actual behavior that brought him to this brink.
Coming Revelations: let the Senate run their 'trial'. True leaders will shine, and sham leaders will be revealed for their sycophant practices. The 2018 mid-term elections were no fluke of nature: The People already demonstrated their opinions of the Republicans when they turned the House into a Dem majority. Just the first of many waves to come.....

It's obvious the punk didn't write that letter. Despite the rambling, the grammar and spelling is presentable. The proofreader also made him strike out the "Don't be a tough gal!" in the P.S.
When voting in the booth with secret ballot, I guess Tulsi writes in "present". As far as Hawaii politics go, she's pau (done). Come January 2021, if the punk retains his throne, Tulsi is making known by her actions, that she is available for a cabinet position.
