Not too much demand for women's basketball on Friday nights.

I'll be curious to see what the ratings for the Western and Southern Open are.

Offensively?...Yes...Defensively?...No.

Vegas shot 57.7% from the field.

So much in transition. If Dallas could just put the effort in to stop teams getting the easy, quick points, they'd have a decent shot even without all the gimmicky crap Taj threw out tonight. They started the second quarter in a 2-3 zone, and the second half in a 3-2. It was, understandably, a kitchen sink game for Dallas. But that does mean that whoever ends up as the #5 seed can get ready for that stuff beforehand.

But really, just stop getting beaten down the floor. That'd be huge on its own.

Yep, ankle I think is what they said.

Yeah it was infuriating watching all those quick transition layups.

Shaq-bage 43 pts! Wings win and go to the playoffs!

Two favorite teams, being a Texas Longhorn, I am happy it came out the way it did. The Aces direly need one of the top 3 picks in the 2019 Draft and now they have an opportunity to vie for it.

And the Wings get to go to the playoffs. Hope Thorton can play but that "uncalled "flagrant elbow" may have taken its toll.

Great game to watch and enjoy!

Let's Go Wings!

I'm glad the Wings are in the playoffs (tbh I would have been happy if the Aces made it as well).

I wouldn't want to be the 5 seed going up against Cambage and Diggins-Smith.

OTOH If Cambage leaves I think th Wings need the lottery pick more than the Aces.

I have already foreseen that the lottery holds to form Indy takes K. Brown #1 and the Aces take McCowan #2. I might not be as high on McCowan as some but McCowan is a perfect fit next to Wilson. Plum, McBride, TY, Wilson, McCowan, damn.

Davis, a Georgia Tech recruit and the No. 2 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 for 2013, has left the Buford (Ga.) team for the rest of the season to get treated for Meniere's disease, an inner-ear disorder characterized by hearing loss and vertigo.

Most reports agreed she quit the team because she didn't like the way the coach ran things.

When players think they are better then what they actually are , Ego's and outsiders start speaking for them instead of their game. KD has made some weird decisions , but she's not hurting anyone but herself and her future in this league. She's not a high demand player so her "Quitting" could be detrimental to her future in the league.

Dallas had 19 offensive rebounds -- and shot 14 more free throws.

Those two numbers make up for a lot of bad defense.

And let's not forget Taj. She brought a whole new perspective to the team - a lot different than Williams. She kicked ass and took names later. Thank you Taj!

+1 Very proud of the energy Taj brought to this team last night.. Screaming directions left and right , really firing the team up during timeouts . Something you couldn't pay Fred to do . Literally !

The CWBL season ends in late January. If her team goes to the finals, she'd be done by mid-March. She'd have at least two months off if she were to return next season.

nothing against Plum...I thought she did a fine job this year. And, looked a lot more comfortable on the floor.

hopefully, in 2nd year with Bill she can develop into a floor manager.
LV lost a lot of games down the stretch this season just because they couldn't close. You have to have a PG that can control pace, the clock, and settle a team down.

Just saw the ending. Loved the energy and effort from both teams.

Didnt like that elbow from Wilson though. That was a clear get your hands off me (intentional) elbow and video showed that. So its crazy to think they the refs decided that the video was not enough to prove a hostile act.

when it happened, I actually thought it was a Thornton flop. Obviously I was wrong but even in the replay, to me it didn't look like all that much contact and I thought it probably was a case of having the wind knocked out, which is horrible when it happens but usually not a long lasting effect. It could also be a cracked rib which is more serious.

IDK. I think she keeps them more settled than MoJeff, who tends to play out of control which can infect the whole team.
