Seriously chill , when i made this post i was not referencing that. It clearly says she resigned with the post i quoted. Quit trying to start stuff geez its uncalled for. If anything it was a Jab towards my team for even making the attempt and being the posterchild for gray's resigning. Dont assume things without knowing the intent please.

With Sims, Williams and Carson (and Iagupova) gone, Mabrey might actually have a chance to make a roster. They've gotta have some shooting out there beyond Gray, and it sure as hell isn't Ruffin-Pratt.
ETA: Ukraine qualified for EuroBasket Women, so I guess it's possible that they're expecting Iagupova to show up after that in July. |

They have ten locks: Parker, Ogwumike (2), Lavender, Vadeeva, Brown, Beard, Gray, Jones, Ruffin-Pratt. Last two spots are between Wiese, Mabrey & Goodwin(IMO).

I would take Samuelson over those 3.

Should the Alexis Jones we've seen in Minnesota for two years really be any kind of lock? |

Yeah, I'm not sure if Mabrey's handle is good enough to play WNBA point guard - even the backup variety - so if we assume that the 11/12 have to come from the current list then maybe Jones does have to stick. I'm just pointing out that she really hasn't lit the world on fire in her time in this league, and very possibly would've been cut by Minnesota if they hadn't found a trade for her. She was also barely a point guard even when she saw the floor last year. She basically jacked up a shot every time she touched the ball. |

it seems that several clubs may have their eyes pealed to see which one(s) of Vegas' PGs get cut. I would think LA could be in the mix. How about a trade of Lavender for MoJeff?

I don't think the Jantel Lavender Contract gets you Jefferson. One quirk to that point guard situation is that as far as we know Lindsay Allen still hasn't signed a contract. She's reserved, so unless the Aces release her she can't talk to anyone else, but without signing something she's also not in the mix for them. Of course, there's every chance that she signed and it was just never announced. |

I am not a Sparks fan, but it certainly does make sense to trade her and Vegas has a bunch of semi-serviceable posts so I would think she would be better than most of them.

She does have some value, just not that much for the Sparks. She got her extension via her 6th man of the year season in which she shot a lot of three'. Problem is that she takes a long stride on each shot and now usually ends up hitting really long two's. She did end up playing relatively well in the post when it seemed that she would lose minutes to Vadeeva. The problem in respect to the Sparks is that she is a poor mans version of Parker ( more like a poverty struck version) and she is not worth the cap cost to them. She might be worth it to some other team if they see her as a major contributor.
She is definitely good enough to play for a lot of teams, but the question is if she is worth her contract.

For a team like the aces I would say yes. I think she would do well alongside Wilson but not at the cost of Jefferson...Now, Allen in the other hand
If you’re not sold in Brown(I for one am.. ) then Brown for Allen? Keep Jantel? I prefer the former scenario, plus I think Jantel deserves a legit shot somewhere to actually play a little more.

Harrison showed real promise in 2017 in San Antonio. If she is back for LV this year, she seems like a very good paring in the post with Wilson. Why would LV want Lavender and her contract?
