Oh good god. Thats an offensive foul?

I only hope they call it the same at both ends...in which case Whalen and Taurasi will both foul out shortly.

Last time I'll be able to watch a W game in a sports bar... Next week it turns to football.

Currently, the refs are calling the game like it's netball.. Razz

already 3 star players with 1 foul.

2 of those fouls were correct. The one on Penny and Maya

I like that the Merc arent exactly executing but right here in the game. I was worried about a quick start from Minnesota

No Lobo, Maya is not 6'2. Lol that would mean that Penny Taylor is 6'3 because she is taller then Maya Laughing

Wow - the Lynx seem to have decided to see how much physical play they can get away with. Not smart physical play in the flow of the game. Actually not smart play period.

On each team's website, Maya Moore is listed as 6-0, Penny Taylor is listed as 6-1.

DT and Maya aren't the same height though. And Penny is more than an inch taller than DT. (I mean, the answer is probably simply "Diana isn't 6'0) but she's been listed there her whole career, players are always given an inch or two. )

sometimes i think the officials get caught up in the hype of the so-called physicality of the game, and are primed to blow the whistle on anything.

this is frustrating to watch already.

WOW, this is going to be a scarey game. Way too physical! Who are the refs? I really hope no one gets hurt. If refs keep blowing whistle this game is going to be 3 hours long. Reeve is using that Detroit type of play.

Where in the hell are the Lynx? The Mercury haven't done anything special for this lead, but execute simple plays. DT hasn't done anything yet, but watch.

You are the defending champions with the best player in the game on your own home floor in an elimination game.

I honestly have to say that wnba refs hate Dev Peters. The fouls they call on her are Rolling Eyes
