On planet WNBA Laughing i dont know how i feel about this move yet. It all depends on how they balance her minutes with Langhorne. Loyd and Stewart like to play an uptempo game how will she fit in with that (no pun intented)? I dont know if she is better then Langhorne defensively on centers tbh. But she is a better rebounder. I would like to see her play max 20 minutes per game. She is the most effective when her minutes are limited. Langhorne can take the rest of her minutes.

Swords walked away and you got Paris for free, so the question comes down to whether you like Paris more than Swords.

I guess this means the Wings are all-in on Cambage. Either that or they really like what Breanna Lewis is doing in Poland.

No we have our eyes on another big , via Draft .

Now you will see what i was preaching about her Pick & Roll defense these last 2 years. Big Enigma for our team , but her rebounding was also needed so it was a lose win situation . Glad its over though

Oklahoma listed her at 6'4 long before the W did

I think shes closer to 6"3 and thats gracious. Up close she doesn't seem big at all , Length or Girth wise to be honest. She knows how to use her body well though thats been her calling card .

they added a bit of girth to the height? No disrespect intended. Paris has vastly outperformed what I thought she would do in the W. I like this move. That said, Seattle is back to having no real height in the middle. Stewie is their tallest player by far and she certainly can't deal with the weight of the big bigs.

Like or no like, it's desperation (and free.) Adds more hope for Brown or Canada @ 5, in lieu of Russell but we'll have to wait and see.

yeah her pick&roll defense is deadly but tbh Langhorne defending centers wasnt much better either. We are giving up so many points. Difference with Dallas is that when Paris gets beat we still have Stewart protecting the rim. She is a better defender then Glory.

Paris is better offensively then Swords but Swords is a better defender. Problem with Swords last year was that she couldnt defend without fouling. So replacing her with Paris is an upgrade.

Paris and Tokashiki off the bench is pretty decent. She will provide some much needed scoring off the bench. Or they decide to bring Langhorne off the bench later in the season which would be good aswell for benchproduction.

Good move by Dallas....With the return of Cambage. It made no sense to have a half court type of center as the backup.....Dallas will also save money if they decide to go young.

Great move by Paris.....Underrated move by Seattle....The Storm will win 20+ games

That’s a pretty bold call. You’re basically saying they’ll become a Top 4 seed, just because they added Paris over Swords. Razz

Courtney was one of the only players to show up for Dallas in the playoffs...while some of the other overhyped FA didn't do squat.

Tamera Young and Hamby both on the Aces team...

This could put Myrtle over the edge!

I wouldn't assume they're necessarily done trying to add bigs...

Oh we will , T made strides this past season moving Paris to the bench after her injury in which paris seems to get hurt every year. This year our team was better with T on the floor . I like this move securing Teresa .

The list is getting short for the Liberty. Grasping at straws now to hopefully bring in someone halfway decent. Bring back Bulgak? Trade for Christmas? Ummm......

Powers was great..I was comparing Paris to some of the other centers in the league.Courtney was solid off the bench:9p/6r/2b/4-5 in 16 minutes...That's better than what some of the other playoff teams got from their centers.

Swords:4p/0r/3to in 14 minutes.
Langhorne:2p/3r in 22 minutes(I'll give Langhorne a pass.She's really a PF)
Kia Vaughn:0p/5r/2to in 14 minutes.
Stokes:2p/3r in 16 minutes.

I understand Pts/Rebs are just two aspects of the game...But Swords,Vaughn, and Stokes were terrible on both sides of the ball.

How is there "no disrespect intended" in a rude remark like this?
