Did you see how that ref just put her hand up to BG when she was trlling her that she got hit(which she did). No foul in BG's favor. DT not playing so I guess the refs are just going to foul BG out! Beard deserves her 3 fouls.

Even with Taurasi, this just seemed like a game that LA was going to dominate. Add in that she is now resting, this shouldn't end up close in the 2nd half.

Agree. I think every ref in the league is against Phoenix as they seem to call more fouls on them and basically ignore many fouls on other teams(especially the Lynx and the Sparks). I figured out early on that the league wants the same 2 teams in the finals as last year. Those 2 teams do a lot of selling and floping.

That would explain the late scratch. Diana looked at the ref list and started cursing, and the coaches all looked at each other and said "hmm, maybe you should sit this one out."

Or, those two teams have the most veteran players who know how to expertly draw calls. They establish a baseline contact level that allows them to get away with more later in the game.

Yes, there it was. Problem is they claimed not to see that Nneka had her arm hooked in Griner's. Nneka is always hooking her arm in an opposing players arm.

I barely got the post in. Not 5 minutes before the 4 one was called.
