| According to a friend who was at the Mystics game, they announced it as being Wednesday, which would be the 6th. So perhaps the ESPN window has changed.

Yes, Capital One Arena is booked on the 7th, so it does appear it'll be played on the 6th. ESPN2 looks clear, so the game may start at 7pm.

| I do find it odd, yet understandable, that they haven't announced the times for the 2nd round games. We know Connecticut and New York will host the games, so why not slot them into their times?

Connecticut is at 3 PM EST. New York is at 5 PM EST.
Minnesota gets both the 8 PM EST slots. Los Angeles gets the 10 PM EST spots.

There's nothing mentioned about times. The Liberty are selling tickets for their second round game but don't list a time. Neither is Connecticut. So I doubt the times are confirmed.
Edit: nevermind, the link doesn't have the updated schedule/times, but it's updated on Facebook. Also confirmed is the Mystics home game in the first round to take place on Sept. 6 @ 8pm.

Well the Lynx confirmed their times and it matches what the WNBA has on their website.

| Mercury are not playing at Talking Stick. They will be playing at Wells Fargo Arena on the ASU campus in Tempe. Supposedly a conflict. But I couldn't find a concert that night or other. Hmmmmm

| That's very odd for the Mercury to not be playing at Talking Stick when there isn't a conflict?!?!? They'd likely draw half of what they'd normally get anywhere else.

That is weird. Maybe college being back in session will help make up for any from the regular fan base who can't make that trip.

The light rail that runs right past Talking Stick also runs by Wells Fargo. So there's that. However parking will be difficult as there are night classes and ASU has a huge commuter student population. Plus, no booze in a college arena (this one anyway). So, even though it's closer for us, we will be watching from home.

| I still have to wonder why the Phoenix game is being played at ASU. Instead of being played on Thursday, it's also been moved to Wednesday. Does Marvel really need a two day set-up for it's shows?

| Perhaps next season the league will ditch this gimicky BS and have playoffs that makes sense. Top 4 in each conference go. 1 plays 4, 2 plays 3 in best of 5, winners play best of 5 and winners then play best of 7 finals....that would be too much to ask I know. I'd rather all series be best of 7, but that isn't happening anytime soon.

Honestly, this system is about as good as they can do within their logistical limits, unless they would be willing to cut the field to 6 (which is what I would love to see). But for an 8 team playoff, I really can't think of a better format.
