Totally agree. Based on the signings and trades, PHX wants to open up the lane more for Robinson and BG.

So what year was that when Little was a thorn in PHX's side, 2010? It's 2017, people!

Of the three, Dallas would be a better fit. Really wish it was Indy. A girl could only dream Very Happy

2011, too. I understand that she's not going to be the Little from 2010, but I still feel like she is an upgrade defensively. Plus, I'm excited about the addition of Alleyene

Bonner is probably sitting out and going to be with Dupree in Indy.

Gonna leave Phoenix desperately thin on the wing if that's the case. Basically leaves them with Taurasi, a bunch of foreigners who might not show up, and whatever's left of Shay Murphy. Have to think they're trying to turn Bone into a pick/player that can help with that issue.

Might be what drew them to Alleyne. And who knows what some of their training camp pickups could bring. I just hope DT doesn't decide to bag the season too.

Is this from sources or just your opinion?

Sources. And if you take a look at the Mercury web page, she's not on it anymore.

verrry interesting. I suppose the tanking theories will be coming to the forefront. I mean Phoenix must have surely talked to Bonner as well as DuPree about this. I assume they couldn't get the 'value' for Bonner that they demanded...so just letting her sit out. My head is getting boggled...

Well, there may be other reasons too such as your team just traded your wife away and you were hoping to be with her. That's my opinion, not sources Smile .

Maybe CanDu and DB want to start a family. No source, just my imagination at work.

Are you referring to Dupree not being on the Mercury roster or Bonner?
BTW Bonner is still on the Mercury roster on their website, not saying she
will be when the season starts but that remains to be seen!

Bonner sits out then gets traded for the Fever's 2018 first round pick?

Mercury are a little thin now at guard.

PG: Robinson/Mitchell
SG: Murphy/Harden/Xargay
SF: Taurasi/Petrovic
PF: Little/George/Alleyne
C: Griner/Bone

God I hate all this drama. It's a business first. Dupree was traded, it happens, she's not dead. Rolling Eyes
I would think management, after protecting Bonner for years and turning down a ton of trade offers, is not going to blind side her with this trade and piss her off and have her sit out.

Or maybe they are tanking for someone? Wink

Might have to go:

PG: Robinson
G/W: Taurasi
F: Little
F/C: Bone
C: Griner

Perhaps Richyy or Pilight have the numbers available, but I am curious as to the +/- and team offensive and defensive efficiency ratings when Bone and Griner played together.

Start your best
Robinson/Xargay
Taurasi/Harden/Mitchell
Petrovic/Murphy
Little/George/Alleyne
Griner/Bone

Where does Turner fit into things? Top scorer in Euroleague.
Top 4 scorers in Euroleague all signed by PHX

I don't have pairing numbers but it was so rare that the sample size would be tiny anyway. Brondello didn't even seem to want to try it.

I thought this as soon as I heard the trade rumors about Dupree and realized that Bonner is not playing overseas right now.

zune, you have been trying to trade Bonner before she ever got to Phoenix.

I like both players but saw the necessity of shaking up things inside and trading Griner would be a big mess. So I understand the Dupree trade. I just hope it doesn't mean DB is gone too.

In a perfect world Indy would offer something for Bonner as well

Coleman and their 2018 first round pick

S. Johnson and their 2018 first round pick

First, you need to flip Harden and Xargay....and then you need to put Turner in front of both of them. Problem solved Wink
This could totally be wishful thinking on my part, I am seasoned enough to know Overseas numbers do not often translate to the W.

You probably need to be more cautious than that, but I wouldn't assume she doesn't make the team either.

Unless I'm mistaken, Euroleague numbers usually translate the best.

What I am saying basically is, if we have Xargay, Harden shouldn;t make the team
