I'm not sure what Dupree's value is any more. She'll turn 33 during the upcoming season, and she's never been a great defender or a particularly prolific rebounder. There's obviously still talent there, but you'd think Phoenix have probably left it too late to extract all that much value.

No idea how much the Bonner relationship would affect things. If they refused to go anywhere except as a package then the trade gets more difficult. And if they were in different places you don't know how much that might affect their play.

More ideas: Asia Taylor, who Brondello probably knows is owning Australia. Make a low-ball offer to Pedersen to bring her back home to AZ. Cierra Burdick, one Vol to replace another. What ever happened to Jen Lacy? Bulgak, the quickly forgotten one. Yvonne Turner, Nadia Colhado, Destiny Williams, low ball an offer for Gruda. So many choices.

Are there any marquee college players graduating in 2019?

KLS, Anigwe, Collier, Durr, Ogunbonwale, Mabrey Mompremiere, and Kalani Brown come to mind. I think for sure Anigwe, KLS, Mompremiere, Collier, and Ogunbonwale will be solid contributors.

I think Azura Stevens will also be in this class. She will definitely play in the W IMO. Also USF Laksa is a possible.

At this point I wouldn't be shocked if phoenix traded Griner to Dallas.......Griner is from Texas right ? She's still not under contract right ? coach Brondello is very familiar with L.Cambage right ? Maybe phoenix is trading Dupree to make room for G.Johnson.

Griner for Johnson,Cambage & the #3 pick.

Until Griner's name is on a contract anything is possible.

I thought Liz would only play for a team with "glitz and glamor" in their city, which narrows it down to basically LA and NYC. Laughing Plus, I heard she said she's booked every American summer till 2018?

I forgot about Stevens. Not a Uconn fan, but I'm excited to see how she does for Geno. I always thought she had superstar potential.

A Griner trade would be the most shocking one to me.... even more shocking than a Maya one.

Duke got better without her. Not sure if that's a coincidence or maybe she's some form of poison pill. I guess we have something to look forward to. Smile

I don't see it that way. I think both teams would see their respective players as virtually untradeable, but as we've seen recently that is only half the picture.
Based on nothing more than randomly-formed personal opinion combined with the excellent reputation of the Lynx organisation, I would guess that Maya is more likely to want to remain in Minnesota than BG does in Phoenix.
(Not that I expect BG to be going anywhere this year btw!)

Griner is going nowhere as long as DT is on this team and Sandy is coaching

HELL 2 the NO . Griner isnt worth that much imo . Griner for Cambage would be special but i doubt she wants to play with glory and id rather have glory than No rebounding BG .

Id say she is worth more because you have no guarantee that Cambage is going to show up and if she shows up it will be probably once in every 2-3 seasons..

The retired one should be Harding.

Griner was going through so much personal drama last year and the year before. I think if she can stop letting her personal issues interfere with her playing, she can be dominant and unstoppable on the court. Drama is setting her back in my opinion.

To me it's less about the drama and more about resting on her laurels. She's not driven to be all she could be.

I disagree. Yes, the year before it was personal stuff BUT she was extremely dominant when she came back in 2015. Last season, she rounded into form the latter part of the season after being unhealthy for a good percentage of it (She pointed this out in an interview last season and even said that doesn't excuse her terrible play). Does she under perform sometimes? Absolutely but she isn't that terrible because when she's on she's unstoppable. A part of me thinks that BG is still struggling with embracing her own dominance and I don't know what will help her accept it on a consistent basis.
