There's a ginormous hole in the lineup where the PG normally resides. Sims and Banham aren't it.

I doubt there's anyone they can sign off the street who's any better. They can probably trade for Danielle Robinson once she's stateside.

Clarendon is injured? How about Lindsay Allen or Kiana Williams. T'ea Cooper, Westbrook, K.Pointer....

Sims was last minute, so she’ll probably be alright long term.

I was thinking Allen to replace Banham, but when you run a tight budget like the Lynx, you can’t afford to make mistakes with your opening day lineup. You’re basically stuck with ‘em.

I think you've proven my point. None of those people are any better than Sims.

I agree. Probably not. And I actually like Sims (better than you anyway) But a lineup with 4 guards and 7 F/C's is not balanced. They need another wing (Davis) like they need a broken backboard.

Good for Evina - hopefully, she gets a chance to show her value.

The Angel McCoughtry Experiment is over: https://lynx.wnba.com/news/lynx-agree-to-contract-buyout-with-angel-mccoughtry/

And whatever the hell is going on with Odyssey Sims, the Lynx apparently no longer want any part of it, as Rachel Galligan reports that she's been waived: https://twitter.com/RachGall/status/1524863266643582976

Yeah, Minnesota also released Davis, Turner, and Milic. That's dropping five while adding only one. Are there players coming back from injury or overseas? Or are the Lynx about to add a lot more people who are currently unemployed?

Man! That's someone I wanted to get a ring before she rode off. She played in what 4 or 5 finals?.

Word on the street she wanted to leave the "so called" tank city.

I don't what they're tanking for if that's what's going on. They're not that #1 pick

Well, Silky said Angel deserved better. I guess the Lynx agreed.

I'd be willing to best their next move is to ask Fowles if she wants to be traded to a contender.

Would be smart for the Lynx to go all in on Punting for Paige. Suck this year and next and then have a good shot at her.

Right now the Lynx are only showing 8 players on their roster. Two are injured and a third is using her visa. That gives them 5 effectives, 6 if Westbrook is added to the roster. They have a game in 48 hours. If they aren't tanking, the WNBA's most spectacular trade must be in the works.

I'm really interested in seeing where Reeve is going with this, and how Banham is still in the league, much less in a starting role.

Jefferson cleared waivers. Might as well give her a shot.

Bring back Turner and Davis to regular contracts.

McBride should be back soon.

More waiver material will be coming from other teams soon.

Might not turn out as bad as it seems right now.

( I made a mistake on the math, it was supposed to be (97+24 =121)

Westbrook was the trade I was referring to but it did not happen. My clue above was supposed to be: the cube root of 8 = 2 (times) the square root of 121 = 11 for a total of 2 X 11 = 22.

At Seattle, Westbrook's number was 22.

My bad. Embarassed

Shocked I thought Milic looked like she could be useful as a backup so count me surprised they dropped her when they are already so shorthanded.

I wonder if Dangermouse is too pissed off to come back. She's way better than MoJeff. They really, really need a PG.

Richyyy, how much money do they have to sign more, after paying off people to get rid of them?

Eh, I don't see the point for the Lynx or for Fowles. Are there any championship caliber teams that can afford he contract? She was allegedly given the option for a trade a season or so ago and declined. She may as well just ride it out and retire with the team she won championships with.

We will be fine with the number of players that will be here for tomorrow's game. myrtle will be thrilled, as well.

It's really just a game of musical chairs with some of them, while some of them will be back, as well.

God I wish KMac wasn't late again this year.
