Seriously, how do we end our season like THIS?!?!? One of our worst games of the season and a completely terrible 2nd half. I need several drinks right now.

The 10 game winning streak was probably a curse honestly. That's the only reason I picked the Mystics to win this game. Confused I hope it gets changed back to best of 3 next year.

Queenie and HappyCappie are tongue tied (and probably lost voices too). Can't blame them. A hard loss to stomach for the fans.

It almost looked like NY was looking past this game...

Got up nicely in the 1st quarter, then put it on 'cruise control'. Confused

Bill said Tina's back flared up during the week when practicing, but she still ended up being our best player tonight. Lots to blame tonight, but Tina showed up.

From a Liberty fan: congratulations to the Mystics and to their fans who came from D.C. for the game! Obviously Tolliver was wonderful today. But what impressed me most was simply that the Mystics didn't quit. They got off to a horrible start, Delle Donne was off, Meeseman was playing poorly, but the team just kept fighting.

I think those Mystics fans took up most of section 106. So, yes, congrats to the Mystics' fans for getting up here for the game. We heard you!

No, I'm staying quiet in order to not post things that would be either personal attacks, phenomenal displays of unfettered profanity, or threats of violence. If anyone starts with me, I reserve the right to finish with them.

I think it's time the Mystics get rid of that crappy emblem. Looking at all the playoff team emblems, they are REAL cool. Then I look at the Mystics emblem...... But they advanced today so...... Consider it Monumental Sports. Make up a COOL emblem!! Make a statement emblem!

PEACE & LOVE GO MYSTICS!!!!!

Yes, those were the jubilant fans I had in mind. (Though of course there were probably other Mystics fans in other parts of the Garden.) Congratulations again.

They had the chance when they switched colors. But they just added the red to it. Bleech! It has always been horrendously BAD.

I'm....as usual when a Libs season is over....bitterly disappointed. It's my fav time of the year and I hate when it ends. I'm not going to say much now because my thoughts are in 10,000 places regarding tonight, Tina being less than 100%, Z going down and the game turning around, etc.

But one thing bears mentioning. Advancing in a one-and-done is much easier when you have a perimeter player who creates her own shot at an elite level and makes big-game plays. It's no accident Taurasi is unbeaten in elimination games. Toliver, who's been a clutch player much of her career and also has the shot creation gene, did the same thing tonight.

Since this format isn't changing, only two paths are left. Instead of complaining about how much it sucks, we either have to get better enough to be a top-2 seed or we need a player who helps us be better in a one-and-done scenario. Or both.

The Liberty were a better team this year when they had an attrition advantage, which is something that's not really present in this format. I think future team-building has to be done with this in mind.
