I think Maya gets one of her 30+ point games here. Lynx win.

Yeah, I think Maya will have a 30+ point game and the Lynx will take game two. I'd be shocked to see her (and Augustus really) disappear for 2 games in a row.
Should be exciting!

Mo'ne Davis to attend WNBA playoff game
Quote: |
Davis has dreams of reaching the WNBA. The league has stepped forward and will fly her and her parents to Minneapolis for Game 2 of the Western Conference finals tomorrow between the Phoenix Mercury and the Minnesota Lynx, who feature Davis' favorite player, UConn product Maya Moore. She will meet with both teams before the contest and sit with league president Laurel Richie during the game. |

That is a great thing for the league to do. She will get to see not only Maya (who will probably have a better game than Fri's, plus she will want to show Mo'Ne how good she is) but also will see many great players including DT who may or may not outdo Maya, not to mention BG. I know she will enjoy herself and maybe she was brought in as motivation for Maya.

She was brought in by the league to bring more attention to the league, since she's the Sports Illustrated cover and it girl.
Maya doesn't need any other motivation other then to win, but hopefully she'll be more inspiring in this game.

Poor kid. Her career ended by the SI jinx at such an early age.

I would very much like the Lynx to get their shit together, but most of all I'd like to see a very, very good game.

Mercury have a great powerhouse team. But they won't win another basketball game until next May._________________ Every woman who has ever been presented with a career/sex quid pro quo in the entertainment industry should come forward and simply say, “Me, too.” - jammer The New York Times 10/10/17 |

That's a bold prediction coming after a 14 point loss.

Stupid Sunday afternoon timeslot is going to test my willpower. This game will have ended just before I wake up.
Now that I already know from jammer that the Mercury are going to lose I'm definitely not gonna bother waking up at 3:30am to watch it live.

Come on Luuuc, take a shot of whiskey. That will wake you up. It should be a good game.

Luuc - I think we are in the same time zone. My alarm is set for 3.30am, if the Merc win it will be worth being a bit bleary eyed at work tomorrow.
