I finally got the scoring corrected in the RPI challenge, all picks were thrown out for any days that you didn't pick a team(s) to win, all or none, any days where all the games weren't picked were thrown out, almost everyone who had games thrown out actually improved their average, only deanjet lost points, and it only cost him .03 points, so it wasn't too bad.

The LSU/Auburn game was played tonight, it will just be thrown out, it won't count in the standings, also I had the Penn State/Mich St game as being played tonight, it will be thrown out also.

Bummer that the LSU/Auburn and PSU/MSU games have to be thrown out -- as fate would have it, I got both of them right Crying or Very sad

Anyway . . . maybe I'm not understanding this, but from the scorecard, it looks like they are both still being counted in the game picks, even though no points are awarded. Shouldn't there be zeros in the V and H and VP and HP columns, so they don't get recorded as picks in the per game average calculation?

Thanks!

They didn't count against your average, look at the standings page, then click on your name, you'll see that the scores didn't count at all. Also your scores for tonight were not counted, because you didn't pick all the games. You do have to pick all the games on any given day, you didn't pick a winner in the Utah/New Mexico game, you are required to select every game, if you don't then all the games are thrown out. You also need to check your picks for the games on 01/08, you didn't select a winner in the Virginia/Florida State game, you are required to pick all the games each day that you make picks.

Thank you -- I didn't realize that we needed to pick every game for every night. I've noticed that players have different numbers of total games in the standings, and I assumed that was because they were being selective about games on an individual basis -- presumably it needs to be an entire day's worth of games, as the basis for selectivity.

That is correct, you can cherry-pick days, but not individual games. I have a tough time getting that message through, it's just my choice of wording I think, some people understand it, some don't. You got it though.
