What a shocker! Steve Novak with 41 points.

If you could see the game, no shocker.

Marquette was better and more aggressive in every facet of the game. Novak couldn't miss, and UConn kept leaving him open. The wider the lead, the more aggressive the defense, the more open Novak was.

It was a thorough butt kicking. No more, no less. Welcome back, Williams!

I didn't see the game. Does it change your views about UConn's chances as a championship contender?

tough to say; how about a tentative "no" until I see Williams integrated into the team a little more. They seemed confused.

This helps explain what happened:

Marquette will celebrate its entrance into Big East play tonight with "Clergy Night" at the Bradley Center and some 100 priests will be seated behind the UConn bench. Talk about your homecourt advantage.
