Ugly game...lots of missed shots. ASU's depth was a difference maker. Also, many of ASU's players are quite athletic and surprisingly versatile.

I though with Washington having 9 players with double digit minutes that they
might have been able to survive better than most against ASU swinging door
rotations, but by the second half they weren't keeping up with the ASU push
down court. And when then did hold up the fastbreak, ASU was able to work
the ball inside.

Hicks held to 12 pts, and fouled out.

Poor shooting first half by both teams keep Washington in game.
Poor FT shooting in the second half keep Washington from keeping
the game closer.

Awesome!!

You hit it on the head, Cam - ASU has depth. It seems that for now at least, the Pac-10 has a decent repper in tha house.

Getting Jill Noe back has been tremendous for Arizona State.

Noe does make a big difference. I was a little surprised that ASU didn't shoot better from outside. They worked the ball in well, but when they did shoot from outside the key, there were a lot of clunkers.

A good showing from ASU though against a very physical team.

Jill makes a difference, but the real difference from my view are the two freshman, Bri January and Danille Orsillo, really smart and athletic and fearless players who buy into the system.
