This week’s Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Polls have three BIG EAST teams ranked in the top six. The polls agree that Connecticut is No. 3, Villanova is No. 4 and Louisville is No. 6. No other conference has more than two teams in the top 15 in either poll.....

Rashad Anderson scored a career-high 33 points in 22 minutes, including 7-of-7 from 3-point range, in a 129-61 victory over Morehead State. It was UConn’s only game of the week. The senior from Lakeland, Fla. shot 12-of-15 from the floor,made both of his free throw attempts and did not commit a turnover. He was chosen as a Big East Conference Co-Player of the Week....
