I'd move NM and MSU over Texas; switch UNC and Baylor; move Rutgers up some.

the sooners seem a bit high considering their recent losses.

I think that top 5(maybe not necessarily in that order) is consensus. I think UCONN and Ohio State are a little too high. UNC and LSU are both very good teams, but Maryland is a little low IMO, considering they handled MSU, and played UT very very closely. Arizona State could also be ranked a little higher. Their lone loss was to UNC, and it was a 7 point loss. I'd also say that OU should be ranked lower, I don't understand your logic by having OU ranked 4 spots ahead of MSU when they have more losses than MSU, and they lost to the Spartans by 20 at home last week. I also think Rutgers is a little low, but I think your list is good.

8 Maryland 10-1
9 Arizona State 10-1
10 Notre Dame 8-1

what I like about pilight's rankings is they appear to require you to actually PLAY somebody.

Hence, Rutgers for example, being low, and OU being high. By season end and conference play, I'm sure it will slide into what many believe is the truth.

I don't really understand the love the computer has for Oklahoma. It seems to pick a team and overrate them all year every year.

Just back from the Stanford at Boston College game....and what a game it was! BC down by 14 at the half came back and won by 8 !!!!!....certainly affirms Pilight's ranking of BC ahead of Stanford! Go Eagles!
