In the opinions of those who post here, what do you think Ann Strother should be classified as? A SG or a SF? Also, what do you think her best position is?

I saw you causing trouble over on the Yard BBall! Sure, you troublemaker, try to bring your rift-causing debates to this board now! Well I'm not gonna fall for it! No way! Everyone knows Ann Strother is best as a Center!

On the bench in the second half? Shooting free throws in the clutch?
More seriously, probably at the 2 in the WNBA. |

Strother a 2 guard. Has the height of forward but I feel lacks the strength.
I wish should could put the ball on the floor more and penetrate. Could be extremely dangerous if she able too. If she plays the 2 makes match up problems for opponents. Could be a good defender against smaller 2 players.

Strother would be dangerous if she had the physical strength (she has the height) to post up small guards or to drive and pull up for a mid-range jumper from the baseline with consistency. She will be drafted and she will make a roster, but developing these things will transform her from future bench player to starter in the W.

Also personality issues: she doesn't like pressure (emotional pressure, I mean-- she can handle a press OK, as we saw tonight). She's like the anti-Taurasi-- she doesn't want the team on her back and performs better when she's not Taking The Big Shot. I agree that she'll make a roster, but right now I wouldn't want her on my team.

She's technically a small forward, and handles the ball about as well as a small forward...but she play's like a shooting guard...However, she has been going inside more recently..
