Gophs looked better this time than in their last two home games, once you consider that they were playing a better opponent. (At least: Iowa State were better than Nebraska last year.) But we still have a lot to learn about beating a zone. Lots of stagnant passing around the perimeter; lots of guards who didn't want the ball, and some posts who wanted it but couldn't get it.

Do Iowa State always unload contested three-pointers with 25 still on the shot clock when they're behind by just one or two possessions? They're fun to watch, but they introduce perhaps more chance into the game than one might like.

It would be nice to see Lacey and Williams contribute again they have been to quite lately and we can’t always depend on Liz to get every thing done.
