The Objective: Create a roster of 15 current WCBB as your "Dream" team.

Rules: You are only allowed 2 players from your respective favorite team and you are not allowed to pick players that are eligible for the 2006 WNBA draft.

So, which 15 players would you want on your team?

I like this! It's kinda neat the way conference bias prevails. I'll get back to this later, I gotta meeting to go to.

I don't even know if it is so much bias all the time, or just valuing the players you are familiar with.

same thing is the way I meant it. You're right, bias kinda has a nasty connotation to it, and I meant it the way you said it.

Not sure what you mean by "bias", but whatever.

If I had to make changes, I'd move Larkins to F (which bumps Jackson out) and slide Davenport in at the center position.

see above; bias as in your region. Not anything nasty. It was probably the wrong word choice.

Well yeah...that and the "no seniors" rule (which I like since it forces people to learn more about the younger players). Most of the players on my list are younger players (save Harding), and some of them aren't exactly known outside of their respective conferences. However, the OP instructed us to use players that don't graduate/lose eligibility in 2006. I'm sure that my list would be slightly different had I been able to use seniors.

Also, the U19 roster is a powerful tool. Wink

Ajavon's a combo guard leaning towards 2, methinks. Which works with that bench of yours.

And no UConn... except for Charde Houston on every serious list.

I am amazed Bart picked a team without finding a way to give Abrosimova more eligibility. Very Happy

Cam, funny that you say that. I just went on a 1999-2000 season bender today. I watched 2 games, and Sveta was awesome in both of them. Man, I still get pissed off about how her career at UCONN ended. Stupid Ace Clement, BOX OUT!!!!

No doubt buddy, no doubt. That 2001 season just devastated me. That team was so good, with so much talent, it was a sin the way our 2 first team All-Americas went out. Getting to the FF just was awesome, and the more time that passes, the more I realize just how great that was. Then again, after that stinker in St. Louis, DT had something to prove, and she did that I would say.
