In a trade that will be announced later Wednesday, Milwaukee has agreed to send swingman Desmond Mason, its 2006 first-round pick and cash considerations to the Hornets for Magloire, an East All-Star in 2004.

Desmond has 2 more years on his deal, Jamaal, only 1 Shocked What a trade though... If TJ Ford can come back, that's actually an interesting team to watch now Idea Feel sorry for Mason though...

Magloire, like Mason, has only this season and next season left on his contract, lessening the immediate demands on Bogut without affecting the 7-footer's standing as a future cornerstone

wrong again ensign.

You could just feel a trade coming for Jamaal Magloire. Not necessarily to the Bucks but somewhere. My guess would have been back to his native Canada and the Raptors. But D. Mason got stuck. Like him I feel a promise is a promise. Well Dez, sometimes life sucks and some people's promises aren't worth the breath it was whispered on.

Yeah, I definitely feel bad for DMason and he's definitely one of the NBA'ers that I've always really liked. But, c'mon, he's been in the league for 6 years now, right? He should expect shady (or should I say, 'snake-like') behavior from NBA execs. The NBA is a business and as a 6th year vet, I would expect that he would know that...regardless of the promises that were made to him this summer. Unless you have some kind of no-trade-clause built into your contract, you are tradeable...especially if your team is very deep at your position.

Good luck in OK City, DMase.
