He is on ellen and when ellen gave him a award for selling ten million(?) albums and she took his hand and put it on the award and said see its yours, so he took off his glasses and looked at it and said......yep it looks like my name.
Cool

I purchased that very offer. My mind went crazy, when my cousin e-mailed it to my attention. Stevie is the best artist in the history of music. He is THE LEGEND of LEGENDS. He has inspired other legends (e.g. Prince, Rick James, etc.). Marvin, Donny, Michael, Prince, Aretha, B.B. King, Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Paul Simon, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Elton John, etc. ALL are legends who take a backseat to Stevie. The package of his artistry, songwriting, musical composition, and vocals are FAR AHEAD of anyone EVER! No one has had the same kind of impact that he has over different generations. "Songs In The Key Of Life" is as good as it will ever get! My little girl knows Stevie's music, as did my late great grandmother. Just look at just a fraction of what I am talking about.

wow, mt, you did the deed????!!!! i am sooooo jealous!

so, how good are the '60s tunes that were re-engineered? i know i'm gonna date myself, but i remember, like it was yesterday, spending a summer in a cabin retreat kind of thing in michigan, and in the big guest house, everybody was rockin' to "fingertips." and i mean, we were playin' it LOUD and to DEATH. i think i was about 9, and stevie was . . . TWELVE!!!! that was the baddest-ass jam of the summer!

believe me, this package is tempting. like an early, justifiable xmas gift. if "fingertips" and some of the early ones are faithfully rendered, it'd be worth it.

I have to wait to I get home to check the gigs of the music. I didn't have to offload it, as I had enough room. I have a lot of room on my hard drive.

My birthday was on the 20th, so my wife made the purchase after I mentioned that the offer was coming in mid-October.

The sound is outstanding! The 60's stuff sounds just like video clips of his performance with the harmonica.

My wife surprised me with the gift when she played "Happy Birthday" on the computer. I was so shocked. My fondest memory of "Happy Birthday" was singing it as apart of a play that was tribute to the late Martin Luther King Jr. for his birthday. My whole class came down the aisles and on the stage for the finale, while I played the role of Martin Jr. I was at the podium singing as if I was Martin stating the "I Have A Dream Speech."

I can't stop repeating "Ribbon In The Sky", "All In Love Is Fair", "All I Do", and "Golden Lady." Those four are my heart! My daughter loves "Never Dreamed You'd Leave In Summer." She sings the song so much.
