Keegan, did you miss my message about messing up your signature at the bottom of your posts. I changed the board to not allow html code, and your signature has some html code in it, you just need to change the < and > to [ and ] ..

Thanks Hellcat, more specific. I'm kind of new to some of this still.

More specifically: younger, but slightly less anorexic-looking Wink

... oh, you wanted more specific AND actually helpful? Bummer.

Nah, Rachel was more of a classic PF, who was a little undersized.
Laura has a bit more of an outside shooting aspect to her game.

Was an exciting prospect a couple of years ago when she really burst onto the scene, but I guess didn't develop as quickly as us impatient folk down under would have hoped. Probably mostly because basketball is more of a leisure activity down here than a professional sport.

A stint in a WNBA camp will do her the world of good, as with the other fringe-Opals heading over this season. Laura played very limited minutes in Athens (understandable, due to her inexperience and our general philosophy of playing the veterans until their hips give out), but she is definitely worth a shot.

Laura led the WNBL in FG% if that means anything (53-54%?).

Tweener sums her up nicely but I think she's more talented than Brungo. She has toughen up a bit.

WNBL and WNBA are two different animals, yet Summerton impressed me two years ago when I was visiting OZ. Yes, her basketball game impressed me as well. Wink Twisted Evil

LJ, Tully, Kingi-Cross, Harrower obviously can contribute in the U.S.

Snell, most likely will make a roster.

Grima, Wilson, Summerton, Bibby, Hibbert, and others will have to make great strides in training camps, yet inviting them can only benefit the player and the team.

How would the Aussie posters compare Summerton to Hammonds?
What about Hamilton?

Maybe even our one Wink

I like Shelley's game better than Laura's because I think she has the better chance of becoming a true perimeter player. However, her development is being hindered by playing post for the Stynx. If Laura can get a shot in training camp though, Shelley should too.

Somebody in the WNBA definitely should give Jacinta Hamilton a shot. She'll have to put on some muscle but she has the right skills and attitude.
