Sounds to me Sales wants no parts of the Sun.
From Nick's notes:

--Sienko said that the Sun have extended (verbal?) offers to Nykesha Sales in the past two seasons but she has shown no interest. They would still probably like to have her back, but they would do no good for the team waiting around for her. |

She doesn't want to play in the W. Second (maybe even third) choice behind her real estate business.

So, I guess all the criticism we might have toward The Donna is unwarranted?
And who makes up this WNBA Board of Governors? (Other than The Donna)

Question -- why doesn't the Sun just trade Sales if she doesn't want to play there? Or does she not want to play in the W, period?

The latter, so it seems. They mentioned how it is easier for her just to play overseas. Two games a week, not as many practices, more pay.

Sales is an unrestricted free agent anyway. They can't trade her because they don't own her rights, and she could sign anywhere she wanted to if she still had interest in playing in the WNBA.

exactly; see my comment above. Low priority for her right now. May want a "proper sendoff" at some point, but she's never been into that stuff.

She did go along with Geno's sham in 1998, however (hey, 12 years ago tonight!)...

hope erin stays at the sun - the team sounds and looks good - hope she stays on the band wagon.
if erin is shopping for minutes - that is a personal journey for the player and the coach that offers. We would really appreciate some feedback for us here in aust if anyone hears anything on erin for next season.
sorry i did not get in earlier rothum - we want more sun games on espn down under !
