Two league sources told ESPN Insider Chad Ford that New York has traded Nazr Mohammed and Jamison Brewer to the Spurs for Malik Rose and a first-round pick.

The Knicks also traded Vin Baker and Moochie Norris to the Rockets for Maurice Taylor and a first-round pick, Ford reports.

And the part you'll like to read the most:
Once again, team president Isiah Thomas is willing to take back huge contracts to get more talent. In the Spurs deal, the Knicks are sending back $5.5 million in future salaries for the remaining four years, $27.3 million of Rose's contract.

In the Rockets deal, Thomas is sending back $8 million in future salaries and getting back $18 million in return. In total, the Knicks, who have the largest payroll in the league, will add an extra $32 million in future salaries.

Oh, this is great...NOT!
Man, I won't even comment on it, the salary discrepancy/differential speaks for itself...
I liked Nazr, he was the only good piece Zeke acquired last year and cheap.

Is it time to change your tagline to "when Blaze and Zeke quit"?

Nothing I like better than a 6'7" Forward/Center... Confused

Nazr was good and rather justified the trading of Van Horn away for him and Tim Thomas. Good VGM player too... Well the Spurs just got a perfect backup! Shocked May as well start engraving the trophy...

*stabbity kill*

*tear* Damn it, I liked Nazr. He was solid in the post and honest in his convictions. *chants calming mantra* First-round draft picks... first-round draft picks...

Nope. TBDPG was a 22 and Bibby was a 26. Not much of a difference...I'm still getting lucky with other picks too, like insisting with Dirk.

Forgot how sometimes VGM distorts reality! Laughing I'm glad it worked out. Admiral can carry on about Miller, but my backcourt of Mobley and Bibby continues to be amazing!

I think it depends on how you play the game, like Yahoo breaks down stats and all. To me, it was serviceable even tho TBDPG was not a cheap pick...

Yeah, in VGM Brad Miller has proved much more valuable than Bibby. There so few dependable Centers in VGM it's ridiculous.

Didn't matter Bibby or Marbury in the end though... BCBG had TBDPG, Evans and Utah, and I had Bibby, Ross and Dallas. That ended up being 22+13+0 compared to 26+4+5 Razz Tonight's lineup differences are similar: Arenas and Childress vs Williams and Carter.

'Air New Jersey'... Somehow that's not as catchy as Air Canada Confused
