Could this be good news for Nicole "I'm going to dry on the vine here" Powell? Feaster isn't on the FA list, so what's up with it?
Sam will do well back in the Eastern Conference. This move doesn't look to be about money, either. Does it?

I don't really need to think about that
Knowing Charlotte, they probably threw wads of cash at Sheri (like they did at OSR). Trudi is like Anne - they love veterans and treat rookies with disdain. Here's hoping Anne can use the extra cash smartly. |

Possibility of playing Feaster at the 2 and Sam at the 3...and saying goodbye to Andrea altogether.

That perimeter combination doesn't exactly strike fear into opponents' hearts. They're a bit slow, can't handle and are inconsistent offensively (Feaster has a career shooting average of less than .400!) |

But they are VETERANS. Remember...Germans love David Hasselhoff, and Trudi Lacey loves veterans!

The scary thing is, this gives Anne money to re-sign Simone Edwards.
Quick Trudi, sign Simone before Anne can! |

When Sam takes the floor, the Sting will be her 5th team. That makes her the #1 journeyperson in league history!

The question that keeps inching into my mind...does this news help Adia Barnes stay in Seattle?
If she in fact does leave, I'd have prefered she go to Charlotte as opposed to Sam.

She's not quite up to "as often as Houston changes point guards" or "as often as the Mystics change coaches" yet, but she's getting there.

new poster on here but a longtime storm fan.
i'd be shocked if the storm re-signs simone, regardless of how much money is freed up by sam's departure. and lots of people think adia is iffy, but she was a solid starter before her injury.

She'll have to change numbers. Tammy Sutton-Brown is #55 in Charlotte.
