One thing about this list is that it shows just how good the WNBA really is. Players complained about regularly, or ignored, are elite talents in Europe.

I am hoping Defensive Player of the Year: Isil Alben, Galatasaray finds a team in the WNBA this year. She has been a little under the radar....

This is a younger pic of her.... she more developed now.

I like her--she's good and has some spunk. That said, if she plays in the league at all, it won't be this year. Turkey is involved in Eurobasket (or European championships), which means she would miss all of training camp and part of the regular season. I don't think she's one of those prospects that teams will allow to come over late without competing for a roster spot.

That is a great pic of SA. So feisty!

How about Nakia S doing well? Lets see more of that over here.
And another Mystic, Eshaya Murphy, also had a great Euro year. Going to be tough to make the team, but good start.

Well, dang. Wouldn't that be something? To get '07 Nakia back for the Mystics this year? If she returns to form, I guess I could forgive that little disappearing act she pulled last season...
