WNBA franchises include the Charlotte Sting, Connecticut Sun, Detroit Shock, Indiana Fever, New York Liberty, Phoenix Mercury and Seattle Storm.

I am sorry, but no small child, boy or girl, is going to go around a house saying, "Mommy, I want to grow up to be a Shock." Or, "Daddy, someday I hope to be really big and strong so I can be a Fever."
