For the fans outside usa, can you guys watch videos from nbc? I only got “ not available for outside USA”??? is this mean I cant watch the Olympic online from nbc.com? Or I can watch the games from cctv5 with ppmate? Any info? thx

For those outside the US, try http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/olympics . It won't work everywhere, but it appears to actually be entirely legal and official (I'm bemused by it working here in the UK, despite the BBC's online rights).
Oh, make sure you use Internet Explorer. It didn't work for me in Firefox, but even after declining the one or two things it wanted me to allow in Explorer it appeared to run the Opening Ceremonies just fine.

The first NBC link you provided, Luuuc, is the best one. I just hit it again and it's giving me updates as to when the broadcasts will start. It has an "alert me" link. Looks like Australia is up in women's hoops first. It's only 7:40 a.m. Beijing time.
It's so exciting we can watch stuff online as it happens!!!!!

That game comes on in less than an hr Eastern time right? (9am Beijing time and 9pm here)

Does the channelsurfing.net stream of the games work for anyone? It stopped working for me yesterday and I cannot get it to play anymore.
