Elaine is playing in Poland with Nolan, Margo, and Bebe. Until someone beats her out, she is our starting pt.

speaking of someone beating her out...
Any comments on Chandi's experience in Australia? What's next for her?

So many questions.....i'm getting confused.
Swin is progressing fine. I see her every day and she works on her shot with Rick everyday. No reason not to expect her opening day of camp.
Chandi dropped 45 a couple of games ago and hopefully she will come visit us and get ready for an important year for her.

Hey SFO,
I'm glad to hear Swin's recovering. I was at the game when she got hurt - it really looked bad!
Ask her if she got the shedunk tank top I left for her at that game.

Cool,
That game was a trip. Indy and Phoenix both needed Detroit to lose, but I couldn't help but love the Shock comeback. You've got to be really proud of that win. It was one of the most fun second halfs I saw last year.

Was the statement "hopefully she will come visit us" a Freudian slip meaning there is a good chance Chandi will be "visiting" Detroit this year and playing for someone else?

Chandi was pretty disappointing in Australia. It took a while for her to get into it mentally and by then, it was too little too late.

Keegs,
For some of us it was just great to see her get off the bench and even attempt a shot. I wanted to go see her college jersey retirement last Saturday night, but couldn't make it. I would have asked her how she enjoyed Australia and I am sure she would have gushed about getting some good playing time in.
Agreed that she was too little, too late for the Fire. But, she did put up some numbers the likes WNBA fans will probably never see. I hope her stint down under has built her confidence for this coming season, wherever she ends up playing.

No slip. I was hoping she would spend some time here shortly working out with us, but she seems headed to Spain.
