Things overheard at Lisa's wedding after it was planned by Ann:

"Why does the minister keep saying 'MVP' instead of 'bride'?"

"That Queen song instead of 'Here comes the bride' was an interesting touch"

"Such a shame that the trapdoor was right where the groom was standing, and that the chapel was built above the world's deepest mine shaft"

"That's the first time I've ever seen anyone elbow 3 people out of the way and then catch their own bouquet!"

"Tickertape? I thought we were supposed to throw rice"

"Why are Lauren Jackson & Henry Bibby tied to the back of that fancy car outside?"

Lisa will probably keep her bouquet and have it bronzed. So, she can put it in her trophy cabinet

Does that mean that when the single women all line up for the bouquet toss that it will look like a bunch of people going after a rebound...and the subsequent loose bouquet on the floor?

What a mess.

I thought I saw Meyers in a blue t-shirt (Cam's favorite blue color for her) behind the Sparks bench...if it wasn't her, it sure looked like Ann Meyers without the TV makeup.

Please see an eye doctor immediately. You may suffer blindness as a result of what you saw.

Would this be a good time to start the rumor that Ann Meyers will be announced as the new Sparks head coach? Rolling Eyes

I can see it now ...

Anne: We talked about this. Every shot is to be taken by the MVP.
Coleslaw: But it was a rebound and a put-back. I was open.
Anne: It doesn't matter. Lisa is the best player in the world.
Coleslaw: But she was on the bench ...

You posters should really stay off of Lisa's back!!! But on a serious note is it me or is everybody treating her bad lately? First Swoopes wants to box. Next, Yo won't let her help her to her feet after a elbow to the face. What's up with all her Olympic buddies? Where is the love? Maybe they are fed up.

If you had seen her punch Wyckoff in the back of the head, or slap both arms down across Dydek's hands, you might not be wondering why people are on Lisa's case.

Actually, if every person on this board listed every single time they've seen her take a cheap shot at a player on their team, we'd have to not only start another thread, but possibly a whole other section on the board, as in the case of the Yellow River. I'm sure some clever people around here could come up with some great names for what that section would be called...

I noticed the comment about the Queen music instead of here comes the bride. Actually, Queen did a great here comes the bride on the Flash Gordon soundtrack they did years ago. Maybe some should take a listen.
