I think that might be correct about the shoe. I'm not really sure. And they should have definitely had my girl, Tina. If they did not want to do so many basketball players, they could have went with Tina and Leslie because Sheryl is not a current olympian.

Yeah Dawn, Lisa & Sheryl had shoes after the 96' Olympics. Holdsclaw had a shoe in 2000 as well. The whole signature shoe thing for the females has kind of faded though. Although DT has her own shoe, its nothing that you will find on the shelves of a sporting goods store. I remember Dawn, Lisa & Sheryl's shoes being on the shelves, even as limited as they were. They capitalized on the success of the 96' Olympics and Nike backing women's basketball very strongly. Remember the "We Got Next" commercials?? Those were hot. Haven't seen anything remotely close since then. Although Nike fails to show alot of WBB players love these days, they sure did/and still do have the best sports commercials.
