Unlike the men's basketball team, which took a charter from the U.S., the women flew commercial. Not the easiest way to get some rest, especially for the likes of 6-foot-5 Sylvia Fowles or 6-4 Candace Parker.

How do they (USA Basketball, whoever) justify this? It astonishes me.

Who ponies up for the men's charter? The NBA or the USOC?? I would think it's the NBA but someone should get all the athletes chartered...._________________ Since this "FUCK this 'signature is too long' bullshit!!!" is no longer applicable, I'm gonna have to get creative - just not right now. So I'm wondering if a photo of the team or a story can be written without somehow the sight or mention of Lisa's baby. I mean where's Tina's kid?

That is a little bit suspect. If I remember correctly last time in Greece didn't both teams stayed separate from the rest of the athletes. I think they stayed on some type of ship. That's disappointing. I believe last time the NBA paid for both teams.

Heck they could have gotten together and paid for it themselves. Each one IS a millionaire, ya know.

Generally, little Dyllan is in sight of his granny and not shoved into the cameras by his Mom. Who, I might add, is a much more private person than little Lauren Lockwood's mama.

Which I admire GREATLY; I don't think it is so smart to broadcast your child so much; gods know there are a lot of creeps out in this world that do nothing but molest or kidnap children.
