7/11 (but somehow I don't feel lucky going with) Ruth Riley. I'm hoping Hughes employs the double post offense again tonight and the Mystakes haven't figured out how to defend it yet. Also hoping Ruthie gets a boost from the home crowd.

Mabell has got me worried. IIRC, the last time we shared a pick it was Charde for 2 whole points! Rolling Eyes

Riding a three-day 20+ streak, tonight I've got Pretty Pretty Czarina. Because, really, if she can't go off against Atlanta, she shouldn't be on anyone's Olympic team.

I'm having a horrible week. You know it's bad when your Michelle Snow pick is the best of the week. Shocked

Only 15 points from Braxton... I'm going to be pushed even further away from the leaderboard now. Sad

7/12: Rebekkah Brunson.

And well you should be. I've been warning everyone to stay away from the people I pick. Razz Unless they are the only decent pick for the day, you can be sure my pick will have an off night. It's uncanny. And the few times my pick does well, it's either no where close to her best night or it's the person that EVERYONE picked. Like the night I had CP3 she gets me 64 points, which would be phenomenal. Except she has had at least two monster nights where she topped 100 pts! I just can't make any head-way. There is no way to consistently make up lost ground.

And strategy? If you save someone for late in the season when everybody else is facing the choice between Tully Bevilaqua and Edwige Lawson-Wade, then she sustains a late season injury, or sits out a meaningless game against a second division club, or decides to retire in the middle of the season, and you get nothing for her. (That happened to me several times last year. Most notably with Holdsclaw and Catchings.)

7/12 Tammy Sutton-Brown

Brunson tonight--if her knee holds up she should get a bunch of boards and second chance points against Phoenix. Taking Jia against the Dream on Sunday. Chicago is way overdue an offensive explosion.

My heart is telling me to pick Marie but if I do that then I'll only have Kiesha Brown, TJ, Masci, and the rest of the bottom of the Sparks bench left. Confused Mad

Thought about Sidney but decided to go with Marie. Not thrilled with any of my options tonight. Tomorrow I've got Asjha. Welcome back to the Leaderboard, G & B! Cool
